Here’s what to do: 1. Take your normal stance but CLOSE the clubface at address. Adjust your aim to the right of the target as the ball will fly out to the left because of the closed face. 2. You need power on this swing, so make a full turn and quickly hinge your wrists upward on the backswing. The overall length of your swing will be ¾ in length. 3. Hit down AGGRESSIVELY through impact. Don’t use a normal follow through – instead think of digging and burying the club past impact to create an explosion of sand. 4. The ball will pop out easily and will release and run once it hits the green.
